Festival Organizer will select the best 5-7 Dance groups with exceptional artistic level from 4 corners of the World.

Festival is open to dance and music groups of any style : Folk dances, Classical dances, Theatres, Contemporary dances, Latin dances, Ball room dances, Street Dances, Modern Dances, Social dances, Oriental dances, Choirs, Brass Bands, Orchestras & majorettes.

Age group of the Participants should be 7 - 75+ years. (Exceptions will be permitted)

Groups (5 to 40+ members). Family and friends are allowed along with Artistic Groups..

Group members should cover the expense of their International flight for the round-trip.

Groups are allowed to perform with live music or recorded music.

Musicians should get their own music instruments from their country of Origin.

Flight Tickets and the Travel Health insurance should be at the Group’s Expense. Only First aid is provided from the organizer..

Festival will provide the accomodations in 3*/4* Hotels as per the accommodation packages choosed by the groups.

Festival provides 3 times meals according to the hosting Country’s Food Standards which includes the Hotel food, Packed food, Street Food allowing the artists to explore different cuisines of host Country.

Transfers: Airport to Hotel Transfers, Venue Transfers and Tours.

Tours will be provided according to the packages excluding monuments entry fee.

The group must perform 3 folk dances in different costumes for 10-15 minutes, once/twice a day. Groups should participate in workshop and parades.

Group will be accompanied by one IEFF-host during the festival.

Group has to get National Flag of their Country, 4 to 5 gifts to exchange with the officials of the festival.

Festival provides Certificates to all group members and a festival trophy to the Group Leader.

Festival provides photos and Videos of everyday performances of the groups.

NOTE : Organizers bear the primary responsibility for the security of International Groups from their arrival to the departures. Organizer will pick up the groups on arrival from Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM)and will escort the groups to the Boarding sections of Airport on departures. If the Organizers encounter the groups with any other engagements on festival invitation, with immediate effect the organizer cancels the official invitation.

During the festival period, the groups have no right to cancel any performance without taking prior approval from the Festival Committee.

Groups should not carry the alcohol to the performance venues, drinking alcohol and smoking is highly prohibited at the public areas in Nepal and we strictly follow this in our performance venues and in Tours & Buses also.

Groups should not take the selfies with the public or unknown people under the safety measure

Groups should maintain their dignity towards the festival board and to other groups too else immediate actions will be taken by the festival board towards their behaviors with huge fines.

Group should choose for the accommodation packages specified below.
• Arrival day's first mela is Lunch      • Departure day's last mela is Breakfast.
• Check in time (12:00-2:00 noon)    • Check out time (11:30-12:00 noon)

Approved groups should pay in advance a 30% guarantee fee within 30 days of the official Invitation else the invitation will get cancelled by default, which is to be deducted at the final payment and the remaining payment will be paid on the day of Group's arrival in NEPAL before check-in to the hotel. (transfer charges should be borne by the group itself). Payment methods: Bank Transfer, Western Union, PayPal or Bank Transfer.

Participation fee is non refundable if the group cancels its participation and no refund is made if the group cancels any of its participants.

Single Occupancy 25EUR Extra per day

Double Occupancy 15EUR Extra/day/person

Groups can extend their stay

25EUR /day/person / 3* rated Hotel excluding food.

30EUR /day/person / 4* rated Hotel excluding food.

15EUR /day/person / 3 times meals.

The festival reserves the right for Radio,TV and video-recording without paying any honorarium.

The Festival organizing committee has the right to change the schedule of the program at any time during the festival.

By applying you confirm that you accept all festival conditions. All detailed information will be supplied after the confirmation for participation.

IEFF reserves the right to make its own decisions by consulting the organizing members at those unforeseen situations which are not mentioned in the Conditions of the festival.
